PHIXERA LTD operates tori and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: contact@phixera.com

• Account details — your email address and sign-in credentials, if you create an account. Used to run your account and sync your library (legal basis: performing our contract with you).
• Library and reading data — saved books, reading positions and bookmarks. Kept on your device, and synced to your account only if you sign in (legal basis: contract).
• Support messages — messages you send us through the feedback channel or by email, used to answer you (legal basis: legitimate interests).
• Usage and device data — basic telemetry, device identifiers and IP address, used for security, fraud prevention and improving the app (legal basis: legitimate interests).

Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.

• Service providers that host and operate the app (cloud hosting, storage, error reporting);
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to process any payment, handle tax compliance and issue invoices;
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

tori uses only the essential storage needed to run the app (for example your theme choice and sign-in session). Browsing pages may show ads from Google AdSense, which can set its own cookies to serve and measure ads; you can control ad personalisation in your Google account settings and clear cookies in your browser at any time.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Signing out leaves your library on your device; deleting your account removes your synced data.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, and only you can read your synced library.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email contact@phixera.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
